Terms & Conditions of Use

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. They outline the rules, fair use policies, and refund guarantees for using the PseudoEditor platform.

Welcome to PseudoEditor! By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use PseudoEditor if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Fair Use Policy (AI & Storage)

PseudoEditor offers free and paid features, including an AI-Powered Tutor, Code Generators, and Cloud Project Saving. These services are provided under a strict Fair Use Policy:

  • Free Tier AI Limits: Free accounts are granted a daily quota of AI tokens. Attempting to bypass these limits, using automated bots/scripts to query the AI, or systematically scraping responses is strictly prohibited.
  • Project Storage: Cloud storage is intended for reasonable, individual educational use. Saving excessively large files or using the storage for non-code related data is prohibited.
  • Enforcement: We reserve the right to temporarily limit, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts that place an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure or violate these fair use principles.

2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We stand behind the value of PseudoEditor Pro. If you purchase Lifetime Access and find that it does not meet your educational needs, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase. To be eligible for a refund under this policy, you must meet the following criteria to protect against abuse:

  • You must submit your refund request via email within exactly 7 days (168 hours) of the original transaction.
  • You must provide a clear and reasonable explanation of how the product failed to meet your expectations or educational needs.
  • Fair Use Requirement: You must have made fair and limited use of the Pro features. Users who extensively drain premium AI tokens (e.g., generating entire large-scale projects, repeatedly using the AI tutor for full assignments) and subsequently request a refund will be denied.

Refunds are granted at our sole discretion. If we detect patterns of abuse, the refund request will be rejected.

3. Academic Integrity

PseudoEditor is designed exclusively as an educational aid to help students learn and understand programming concepts. You agree not to use the platform (including the Code Generator, Converters, and AI Tutor) to commit academic misconduct, cheating, or plagiarism. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of our tools complies with your specific school, college, or university's academic integrity policies. PseudoEditor accepts zero liability for any academic penalties, failing grades, or disciplinary actions incurred by users.
